TIP # 1 HOW TO TAKE SHARPER PHOTOS - PLAY VIDEO
BEFORE AND AFTER - A picture is worth a thousand words. It's hard to believe that this is the same house. I had the pleasure of taking photos of this charming property March 2011, about a month after the Realtor had taken photos with their camera. While taking the new photos, my goal was to make the home look more spacious and cheerful. My photos were taken with the same lighting as the previous photographer while using a $4000 Nikon camera and Nikon wide angle lens. Can you see a difference? **BEFORE AND AFTER**

Better photos = More buyer calls. A good real estate photographer can be a Realtor's best marketing friend. I would be happy to help you to get your listing to stand out from the crowd.

Use a tripod - This will help the photos to look sharp and clear. If you don't have a tripod, then be sure to hold your camera as still as possible. Try leaning againt a wall or a doorway.
Shoot from all angles - You may be surprised at the great shots that you get if you shoot from all four corners of the room.
Best weather to shoot in - You will get the best interior photos on a slightly cloudy or overcast day. You can always come back on a brighter day for the landscape shots.
Frame the shot - Be sure to hold the camera straight and only include features that are compelling.
Focus on selling features - This may include a covered bus stop or nearby greenspace. A photo of a toilet and part of the bath tub is not going to be as appealing as a beautiful park across the street.
Results will vary per quality of camera and lens.
